Helicopter Spins Out of Control into Palm Fronds at Well-Known California Beach
An aircraft hovering over a well-attended southern California beach abruptly started spinning out of control, finally descending rapidly and crashing into a line of palm trees as spectators looked on.
Videos uploaded on social media capture the chopper starting to spin over Huntington Beach then descending towards the border of the shore, where it gets stuck between palms and a set of stairs adjacent to the shoreline route.
First Aid Information
Emergency responders said five individuals were rushed to the hospital comprising two individuals who were in the chopper and were ârescued from the debrisâ following the crash on the weekend.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Information on their condition were not immediately available.
The reason for the accident was still under investigation.
