Vinted Users Share Frustration Regarding Sizing Changes
Shoppers are voicing their frustration due to a modification that led to listings displaying inaccurate size information.
The second-hand shopping app has revised its size classifications for women's and children's clothes failing to inform every member regarding the update.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present a different size category compared to what was initially listed due to the recalibration.
Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces.
They have suggested members to check their listings and update the measurements by hand where appropriate, causing user dissatisfaction.
Measurement Approach Modifications
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, for instance S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter with a size spectrum like S/UK 8-10.
In some cases, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.
Member Experiences
Frankie Bridger, who creates plus-size fashion videos, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," as the platform currently indicates.
Another user, located in Scotland, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as measurements 20-22.
"If anyone [who is] size 20-22 buys them they may become frustrated," she stated.
Required Changes
Another shopper, based in Derby, stated she felt frustrated because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"Personally, this is quite irritating, because of my ongoing medical condition and Vinted sales have been crucial following partial earnings loss," she said.
Platform Context
The service features exceeding 100 million shoppers, with 18 million British users.
It has become a favored option versus similar marketplaces including eBay and Depop.
This isn't the first time that an unexpected update to the app has proved unpopular: previously, the platform withdrew an update regarding delivery choices following member complaints.
